In order to get access to the ESPAD reserved area ‘Advanced Search’, you must agree to the ESPAD informed consent and register your request via the registration form.
Considering privacy as a fundamental value, we constantly strive to treat the information concerning you with correctness, lawfulness, and transparency, always protecting your privacy and your rights in accordance with the EU Regulation 2016/679.
We would like to inform you that the object of this web portal – the ‘ESPAD Trend database’ – is described in the About ESPAD section.
Processed data
Only to access the reserved area ‘Advanced Search’ of the portal, users are required to provide the following data during registration (according to the EU Regulation 2016/679): FIRST NAME, LAST NAME, CURRENT POSITION, ORGANISATION, COUNTRY, EMAIL ADDRESS and an explicit consent to their treatment.
Purpose
If you register to the reserved area ‘Advanced Search’, your personal data will be processed only with your explicit consent, in order to allow you to access the most advanced search features of the web application. We use your personal information to produce aggregated statistics about the use of this portal, and to send you communications regarding its functioning. No individual can be identified in the aggregated statistics, and the contact details will not be used in any other way.

The legal basis of this treatment is to be found in the express consent to be provided in the Registration form.
Methods
The data processing will be carried out with electronic tools, according to the methods designed to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data. Specific technical, organisational and procedural security measures are observed, so that the adequate level of data protection is guaranteed, to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorised access. Your contact details will be deleted upon request to espad@ifc.cnr.it.
Your data will be kept exclusively for the period in which the portal will be active. The portal is expected to be updated on the occasion of the next ESPAD data collection that will take place in 2024.
The data are processed exclusively by personnel in charge of their treatment, according to the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency, relevance and not excess with respect to the purposes of collection and subsequent processing. The data relating to the online service are not subject to communication or dissemination, unless provisions of law or regulations provide otherwise.
Navigation data
The computer systems and software procedures supporting this web application, during their normal operation, acquire some data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with the user visiting the website, but which by their nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or names domain of the computers used by users who connect to the website, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response and other parameters relating to the operating system and the IT environment of the user. These data are used for the purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the website and to check its correct functioning. Personal data collected by browsing the website will not be communicated or disseminated.
